Comrade Digital Marketing

Comrade Digital Marketing is looking for a Brand Copywriter to join our Content team and help shape how our brands communicate online. This is an opportunity for a strong writer who knows how to create compelling, search-informed content that is clear, persuasive, and aligned with brand voice.
In this role, you will take ownership of creating and editing content for the Comrade and Grow Law websites. You will write content that supports brand visibility, audience engagement, and organic growth, while collaborating closely with the Content Manager and internal stakeholders.

This is a remote position open to candidates across Canada.

As our Brand Copywriter , you will be the dedicated writer for brand-focused content across the Comrade and Grow Law websites. You will be responsible for producing high-quality content across a variety of formats, including website copy, blogs, landing pages, and other digital marketing assets.
This is a high-output role for someone who can balance creativity with structure, move quickly without sacrificing quality, and write with both the audience and search performance in mind. You will report directly to the Content Manager and collaborate regularly with the content team to ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and execution.

Write and edit a high volume of marketing content for the Comrade and Grow Law websites
Create engaging copy for web pages, blog articles, landing pages, and other brand content
Apply SEO best practices to improve organic visibility and performance
Collaborate daily with the content team to align on priorities, voice, messaging, and deadlines
Revise copy based on stakeholder feedback and evolving creative direction
Proofread and quality-check all content to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and polish
Help maintain a strong and consistent brand voice across digital touch points

Delivering high-quality content on time and with minimal revisions
Writing copy that is clear, engaging, and aligned with brand tone
Supporting SEO goals through well-optimized content
Managing a consistent writing output across multiple content types
2–5 years of professional copywriting experience in a marketing environment
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging to fit brand voice
Solid understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to digital content
Native-level English fluency
Experience working in a marketing agency or in-house brand environment
Background in journalism or legal-industry content
Degree in Journalism, English, Communications , or a related field
Familiarity with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, SurferSEO, Google Analytics, Google Search Console , and AI writing tools

Depending on workflow and project needs, you may work with tools such as:
SEO platforms like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SurferSEO
AI-assisted writing or research tools
Internal collaboration and content workflow systems
