STRIVE Recruitment is currently hiring a CNC 5 Axis Machinist for a growing fabrication shop in NewMarket, ON. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a mechanical background who thrives in a team-focused environment. This organization is one of the world-leading manufactures in their industry.

15% night shift premium
Overtime pay after 40 hours - Not mandatory

Reimbursement for safety shoes after a 3-month probation period
Ongoing training opportunities
Operate two (2) 5-axis CNC machines
Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM, gauges)
Load, modify, and prove out CNC programs as required
Monitor machining processes and make offsets or adjustments to maintain quality
CNC 5 axis expereince
Knowledge of Mazak controls is considered an asset.
Basic computer skills required
Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset
Experience with DMG DMU 5-axis machines is an asset
Familiarity with Heidenhain controls is an asset
