Consulting civil engineer

Our client, a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm based in Durham Region (Oshawa), is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to lead their Site Plan team. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid role, offering base renumeration in the range of $110-140k per year, depending on experience, plus a competitive total rewards package. Leading and managing a site plan team for various civil engineering projects related to Site Plan Applications, building permits and Site Alteration Permits.

Overseeing the preparation and review of grading plans, servicing plans and stormwater management reports ensuring compliance with municipal and regulatory requirements.

Coordinating with clients, contractors, and municipal officials to facilitate project approvals and permits.

Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Preparing and assisting with the preparation of reports, proposals, and project updates to stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site plan design and project management.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.

Strong understanding of municipal and provincial regulations related to site development.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with team members, clients, and municipal officials.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
