Our client is a leading provider of innovative healthcare technology solutions focused on organ transplantation and allocation. They deliver powerful, scalable platforms that support national-level transplantation networks by improving referral management, streamlining workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency for transplant centers and organ procurement organizations.
The ETL& Functional Tester reports to the Director of Solution Implementation and provides a broad range of integration and application testing services across client projects. This role works closely with QA Engineers, QA Leads, and broader technical teams to ensure solutions meet the highest quality standards through rigorous data-focused testing.
Integration & Data Testing:
- Execute database testing, data transformation testing, data integration, and data migration testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Take ownership of automated and manual quality assurance for assigned projects, establishing quality controls, metrics, and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test strategies, test plans, and test cases covering system, integration, performance, and regression testing.
- Write, refine, and execute test scripts at all testing levels (system, regression, integration, performance).
- Project & Team Collaboration -Identify risks and provide actionable recommendations throughout testing activities.
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) or Agile/Waterfall phases as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and effective stakeholder communication.
- Support Test Data Management solutions and ensure compliance with accessibility standards for web projects (e.g., Continuous Improvement & Professionalism -Stay up to date on new QA tools, technologies, and frameworks.
- Deliver high-quality client outcomes while adhering to security, privacy, and confidentiality policies.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 5-6 years in software testing and quality assurance, with strong emphasis on:
- Database testing, data migration, integration, and transformation testing (primary focus)
- Functional testing experience (secondary, good-to-have)
- Strong command of system, integration, regression, and performance testing
- Hands-on experience with test planning, test case design, and traceability matrix maintenance
- JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Familiarity with Test Automation tools (Selenium, or similar)
- Experience with web and mobile application testing across multiple environments
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with both Agile (Scrum/SAFe) and Waterfall methodologies
ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines
Languages: Bilingual proficiency (English and French) highly desirable
