Analyst Finance Senior

Position: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Mississauga (in office role)

They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be based in their head office in Mississauga.

As Senior Financial Analyst, you will report to the Finance Manager and play a key role in supporting operational finance across multiple manufacturing sites in North America. This is a hands‑on, highly analytical role with strong exposure to operations, standard costing, fixed assets, and capital expenditure. Based out of the Mississauga head office, this is primarily an in‑office role with 10 work‑from‑home days per year and limited travel to operational sites.

Monthly reporting and variance analysis for plant operations

Set‑up and maintenance of standard Bills of Material (BOMs)

Building annual overhead budgets in collaboration with site leadership

Supporting capital budgeting, approvals, cash flow forecasting and reporting

Tracking and reporting on capital expenditure projects

Supporting internal and external audits

Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and reporting deadlines

Driving continuous improvement initiatives and sharing best practices across sites

You will work closely with Operations Directors and site leaders, providing fact‑based insights to support operational and financial decision‑making.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Accounting or finance experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of accounting theory, transactions, standard costing and fixed assets

Experience supporting capital projects and operational finance

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, filters)

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and operate with minimal supervision

A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration

An accounting designation (CPA or working towards one) is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Business Central is an asset.

Competitive salary of $90,000–$95,000

• 175 per month on‑site work allowance
