The Business Inn
The Business Inn & Suites hotel (170 units), which also shares ownership with MacLaren's on Elgin, is looking for a full-time maintenance technician/handyman team member.
You must be available to work 5 days weekly, Tuesday to Saturday, from 9am-5pm (40 hours).
per year and 80% of dental/vision up to $1,200. per year, and a CAA membership with both life and critical illness insurance.
Languages: Speak, Read and Write English
Requirements: maintain a preventative maintenance program, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and perform hands-on minor repairs of: HVAC systems, kitchen and bathroom plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, painting, and drywall repair.
Must have positive teamwork skills and hospitality/customer service skills in relation to dealing with fellow staff member, guests, and be able to assist and instruct outside trades/contractors.
Bondable, reliable, no criminal record, valid driver's license.
Work under pressure, physically fit in order to move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
