Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a detail-driven, proactive Purchaser to support daily procurement operations. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will manage vendor relationships, coordinate inventory needs, and drive cost-effective sourcing strategies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys optimizing supply chain performance.
Location: On-Site in Niagara Falls, Ontario

Source and procure janitorial and cleaning supplies from vetted and prospective suppliers.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; Monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery issues, and manage non-conformance procedures.
Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Negotiate pricing and delivery terms aligned with company goals.
Create and manage purchase orders in the ERP system with accurate documentation.
Support cross-functional coordination with accounting, customer service, and sales.
Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 4+ years of purchasing/procurement experience (experience with cleaning products or manufacturing is a plus).
- Strong ERP and Microsoft Office Suite skills; advanced Excel proficiency.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and product standards an asset.
Preferred Assets
Purchasing/Supply Chain certification.
Bilingual (English/French).
Experience with hazardous materials regulations.
Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices.
