Engineering Technologist / engineer

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineering / Solid Waste Engineering Drafting Technologist to join our growing team remotely from British Columbia or Alberta.
Produce accurate and detailed drawing sets using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related modeling programs.
- Analyze and create surfaces with spatial data (LiDAR, terrestrial scanner, and other survey formats).
- Prepare site grading, road, ditch alignment, and pond grading plans.
- Produce civil engineering plans, which may include existing site plans, design plans, road profiles and cross sections, drafting of typical sections.
Post-secondary Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Drafting and Design.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in drafting and design.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D including surfaces, grading, feature lines, alignments and corridors.
- Familiar with land surveying principles and practices.
- Computer training in GIS and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of current and proposed engineering design and surveying standards.
- Critical and creative thinker with problem-solving abilities.
