The Cliff House Restaurant Dishwasher is a key role in maintaining the functionality and appearance of our restaurant and café venues. Main duties include: loading and unloading the dishwasher, paying close attention to clean appearance of individual items, maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen, assisting the Head Chef and Line Cooks with necessary tasks and following opening and closing procedures.
Liaise with the Serving Team in a positive manner
Participate in daily shipping, receiving, distribution of kitchen supplies
Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in cooler, and all storage areas
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work area in the kitchen, specifically the line, prep area and floors
Follow all HAACP and Food Safe requirements
Be alert to hazards and immediately report any concerns of yours or our guests to your supervisor
Ensure your ability to work without risk to your health and safety or any other person’s safety is not impaired by alcohol, drugs or other causes

Food Safe Level 1 certification is an asset

Considerations The ideal candidate must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Need to be comfortable working in a high-temperature, high-pressure environment during peak service hours.
The wage for this role is $19.33 per hour plus gratuities. The Capilano Group comprises of retail, hospitality and tourism-based businesses anchored by Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver.
