Position Details The Faculty of Arts and Science invites applications for an Academic Advisor to commence as soon as possible. This is a Temporary AUPE position (Student Information and Support 12) ending on approximately November 1, 2026.
Reporting to the Associate Dean, the Academic Advisor will provide academic advising and program planning assistance to current and prospective students in all Arts and Science programs and will be expected to acquire an understanding of academic programs and faculty curriculum policies and procedures.
Position Qualifications
Applicants must have an undergraduate degree, computer literacy, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with the Alberta Protection of Privacy act would be an asset.
The Faculty seeks candidates who value post-secondary education and show professional commitment and sensitivity to the academic needs of students.
Preference will be given to candidates with familiarity with the University of Lethbridge programs and experience working with students.
Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)$5,291.00 - $5,990.00 monthly
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)$5,291.00 - $6,687.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 12)
