Part-Time Casual Production Assistant

We have modern sawmill, planer mill, and pellet mill facilities, which produce dimensional lumber, wood pellets, shavings, and chips for wholesale customers.
We’re a major employer in the local region, we have more than 160 employees working throughout the operation -- mill production, sales & shipping, woodlands, truck and mobile equipment shops, and administration. Contract and part-time employees are also employed in maintenance, transportation, and seasonal activities.

We are currently looking for individuals who are interested in becoming Casual General Production employees for our manufacturing facilities in Mitsue Industrial Park. Operates a variety of machine centers in the sawmill, planer mill, and/or pellet plant
Uses an air wand to blow dust and debris from trim saw area during crew breaks
Monitors product for deficiencies and reports issues to the shift supervisor
Cleans and sprays work areas with water prior to hot work; A solid work ethic, be eager to learn, and be a team player
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Mitsue Industrial Park
Preference given to candidates with previous work experience in a industrial or manufacturing setting in a safety sensitive role
Mill experience is an asset, but not required
Available to be on call for a variety of shifts including: day, nights, or weekends
