We are building a firm that operates at a high level—where lawyers can focus on legal work, and operations run efficiently, predictably, and professionally.
To support that growth, we are hiring a high-performance Office Manager / Operations Lead to take ownership of the business side of the firm.

This is not a traditional office manager role.

Lawyers consistently meeting or exceeding billing and performance targets
Administrative team running smoothly with minimal oversight
Billing, collections, and file management systems operating efficiently
Own and optimize day-to-day firm operations across all administrative functions
Lead, manage, and develop administrative staff (legal assistants, intake, support staff)
Set clear expectations and manage performance with accountability
Financial & Performance Management
Oversee billing workflows, WIP, and collections in collaboration with accounting
Track and report on key performance metrics (billing, conversion, efficiency)
Oversee legal and operational systems (Clio or equivalent, document management, etc.)
Compliance & Risk
Ensure compliance with Law Society requirements, privacy standards, and internal policies
One example of a system or process you implemented that improved efficiency or performance

3–7+ years in a law firm operations, office manager, or senior legal assistant role
Strong understanding of legal workflows, billing, and law firm operations
Experience managing people and driving performance
Experience in litigation-focused firms
Familiarity with BC systems (Court Services Online, LTSA, BC Online)
Experience with Clio or similar practice management systems
