Food Service Worker, PT Seasonal

You'll play a vital role in fueling the minds and bodies of our vibrant university community, from energizing students for their studies to providing delicious meals for faculty and staff. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner
Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures
Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives
Timely preparation of a variety of food items, beverages, and
Add garnishments to ensure customer happiness and eye appeal
Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving equipment
Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage
Perform other duties as assigned including other areas in the kitchen
1+ years Kitchen Help, Food Service, or Prep Cook experience

• Valid WHMIS and Food Safe (Basic or Advanced), First Aid Certification is an asset
• Knowledge of and commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service
• This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

This is a part-time, seasonal role.
