Bayshore is in search of a dedicated and supportive individual to join our our team in the role of Rehab Assistant. The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring the delivery of the treatment program as prescribed by the applicable regulated health care practitioner. You will support adult and/or pediatric clients to help them achieve their maximum potential. Key responsibilities include carrying out the prescribed treatment program as directed and taught, documenting clients’ progress, and reporting outcomes to the applicable regulated health care provider. Person-and family-centered care (PFCC) is an approach to care that recognizes the importance of family in a patient’s life and the importance of their active involvement in planning and making decisions on health care, services and treatment, and health system reform. Part-time position available: Requires at least 2 days of weekday daytime availability
Community based position, pay per visit and mileage in-between clients
Implement personalized rehabilitation programs in collaboration with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Speech and Language Pathologists.
Promote maximum independence for clients at home, in the community, and at work to support their re-integration.
Support Behavioral Health: Facilitate and supervise activities of daily living, along with social, educational, and vocational re-integration plans.
Implement cognitive therapy programs to enhance clients’ cognitive abilities.

Completion of a recognized Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Rehabilitation Assistant College Program.
Will also consider a university degree in kinesiology and/or the possession of a RRP or CCRC designation.
Enjoy dealing with people and working in a fast-paced customer service environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of personal computers and proficiency with secure email. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
