Lead the creation of comprehensive, effective end-to-end test strategies and plans for platforms and projects on high profile, complex and high-risk initiatives with significant impact to the organization. Provide test expertise with a focus on efficiency, developing innovative solutions covering all aspects of testing, with a focus on automation, end to end solutioning leveraging diverse solutions (test data management, service virtualization and/or test environment provisioning)
Will act as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role or as Journey Test Lead partnering with Journey Solution Train Engineers (SLTE), Release Train Engineers (RTE), and Product Family to provide a broad range of test services and strategies, ensuring business needs and objectives are achieved (scope is across multiple Platforms and/or multiple Lines of Business influencing QE teams to achieve goals).

Able to determine testing impacts for multiple delivery teams and scale accordingly to ensuring positive business outcomes
Responsible for activities related to risk identification and mitigation and validating that business outcomes are achieved.
Drive quality and metrics making improvements in delivery; Utilize advanced domain knowledge & ability to understand technical solutions to build an optimized Test Approach, inclusive of the tooling strategy
Effectively engineer and leverage virtual assets to support virtualization of any incomplete / unavailable code, service, database, etc.
Have strong knowledge of test data management to reuse automated test data provisioning capabilities to be able to adopt a standard test data tool set
Lead deployment and implementation of tools / processes / resources and automation for functional and/or non-functional testing (performance, readiness / reliability testing (ORT), accessibility, security) approach, frameworks, and ensure automated tests are integrated into the continuous integration, delivery, and testing (CI/CD/CT) pipelines
Identify opportunities for test asset reusability and efficiencies in test approach
Proactively seek continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and responsible for developing, documenting, and proactively identifying end-to-end test solution designs and early automation opportunities within the testing process
Apply Coach and mentor others on the principles of behavior / Test Driven Development (BDD / TDD) and focus on value driven outcomes
Provide advanced test development support

Sitting at the Product Group (PG) level, act as a quality expert working across numerous development teams in medium complexity deliveries
Ensure quality of source code; looking for opportunities to effectively leverage tools and engineering practices (DevOps tools and processes, SV, monitoring tools and process, etc.)
Accountable for early contributions to the design and development process \\ to ensure built-in-quality code
Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to quality engineering activities
Ensure respective programs/ policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with business priorities
Collaboratively engage with relevant stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external, to shift from finding defects to proactively preventing defects
Actively seek and support continuous improvement and automation opportunities within the quality engineering practice
Conduct meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level using data to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess the effectiveness of programs/ policies/ practices
Conduct test assets reviews to ensure adherence to quality, standards compliance, reusability, and ease of maintenance
Monitor service, productivity and assess efficiency levels within own function and implement continuous process / performance improvements where opportunities exist
Lead / facilitate and/or implement actions / remediation plans to address performance / risk /governance issues
Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines, corporate and/or control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements
Protect the interests of the organization - identify and manage risks, and escalate nonstandard, high-risk activities as necessary
Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite

Keep others informed and up to date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities

Primary subject matter expert in own area, able to consult with stakeholders or cross functional teams with respect to all aspects of quality software delivery
Hands on expertise understanding architecture blueprints and diagrams including logical data models and translate them into efficient test approaches
Expert knowledge of specific domain and quality engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes, and procedures
Ability to drive and support delivery of quality solutions across pods or medium to high complexity/size scope across one product line / business
Deep experience applying in new / advanced techniques and approaches in testing and automation (e.g., and ability to lead their implementation in the platform, project
Advanced experience in software configuration code and release management
Advanced knowledge of test architecture frameworks, technology, tools, processes, and procedures
BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline; Strong academic background (e.g., software engineering, computer science)

• Hands-on experience working with Data Lakehouse architecture
• Expertise in Spark Databricks for big data processing
• Spring Boot, Data Lakehouse architecture and Spark Databricks
• Experience with Azure SQL and ASE
• Knowledge on Event Hub, HashiCorp Vault or equivalent
