Human Resources Advisor

• Full Time
• As a strategic Human Resources Advisor, you will align human resources strategies with the organization’s vision and strategic priorities. You will lead and support the execution of HR programs including employee relations, employee engagement, total rewards, talent acquisition and employee retention; and provide advice and support to people leaders and staff on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.

Manage talent acquisition for your client group with a hands-on approach. Scan recruitment processes through an EDI lens, providing advice and guidance to hiring managers as required, proactively make recommendations for process improvements.

Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on employee relations and conflict resolution, escalating when necessary.

Manage employee records and HR data.

Apply understanding of HFHT policies, employment law, and other regulations.

Identify training needs, develop and deliver training programs, as required.

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as an HR Advisor, preferably in healthcare.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field; Ability to travel to different practices and hub sites within and around Hamilton.

High level of competency with computers and information technology.
