Physical rehabilitation therapist

About the Company We are seeking skilled and experienced Physiotherapists to join our dedicated rehabilitation team on a contract basis in Northern British Columbia . As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions to patients across acute care, long-term care, and community settings. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality care that supports functional independence and rehabilitation outcomes.
Deliver physiotherapy interventions including manual therapy, exercise prescription, modalities, and education
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff
Maintain accurate clinical documentation following professional standards and facility policies
Adhere to infection control protocols, safety practices, and professional guidelines
Flexibility to work across different units (acute, LTC, rehab, or outpatient), with rotating shifts as required
Must be licensed and in good standing with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC)
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
Minimum 1–2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or community setting
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Clinical expertise in musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory rehabilitation
Prior experience in Northern or rural healthcare settings
Active registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC)
Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications
