Civil and Structural Engineer

Tetra Tech is adding an Intermediate Civil/Structural Engineer to our Civil/Structural team based in Vancouver, BC .

Water Treatment
Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and industry standards, engineering formulas, and experience.
Provide construction support including review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, etc.
Develop construction cost estimates for projects within the department.
Organize, draft, and coordinate technical documents.
Work with lead engineers to scope out projects and establish project objectives.
Coordinate work with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, etc.
Develop engineering estimates and assist with proposal development.
May serve as Project Engineer and as a designated client contact on smaller, less complex projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Be familiar with structural analysis software SFrame, STAAD, RISA, SAP2000.
• Experience with site grading and roadway design is an asset for this position.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive client and project team relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications.
• Responsible for adhering to all health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Contractor arrangements are also considered.
