AECOM Winnipeg is hiring a Structural Engineering Manager.

Leads, oversees, and coordinates structural engineering production activities, with a focus on bridge design and construction, but also covering a range of structural infrastructure projects.

Leads and manages a team of professional engineers, engineering technologists, and drafting staff.

Provides technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery.

Makes authoritative decisions and recommendations on complex engineering challenges.

Engages with senior-level management and stakeholders, demonstrating strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.

Manages multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals while maintaining technical excellence.

Demonstrates strategic thinking and problem-solving in project planning, execution, and operational objectives.

Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company best practices.

Supervision is primarily administrative, with assignments defined by broad objectives and project requirements.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience, including infrastructure design and construction
• Ideally 12+ years of experience in infrastructure design and construction

Strong understanding of project financial software/systems

Experience managing infrastructure projects

Strong knowledge of engineering analysis software and infrastructure design
