As our Speech Language Pathologist II, you will be working both independently and as part of an inter-professional team, responsible for providing assessment and intervention services to children and their families in the Rocky Mountain House area, based in the Rocky Mountain House Health Centre. Rocky Mountain House is located 77 km west of Red Deer in west - central Alberta located on the North Saskatchewan River. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide clinical professional practice both independently and as a part of a collaborative team, which may include external partners. You will be responsible for providing prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management. You will participate in the planning, coordination and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients/clients, families, healthcare professionals and other partners. You will use your clinical expertise to inform ongoing quality improvement, service integration, and program development.

Driver's License, Vehicle Required Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
Additional Required Qualifications: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to those with experience with pediatric rehabilitation. Preference will be given to those with experience working with SLP Assistants.
$39.58 - $54.16 per hour
...a full licence, the rate of pay will be adjusted to the applicable Registered Nurse rate in accordance with UNA Article 25.02(b)(i) or (ii) as applicable.
