Pharmacist - Temporary

Dispensary duties in the Main Pharmacy including medication order and profile review and entry into Meditech Expanse Pharmacy module, checking responsibilities, trouble-shooting clinical & drug distribution issues, & acting as a resource for Pharmacy Technicians & Students. As staffing situations require, provide back-up coverage for staff on a variety of patient care units and departments including decentralized medication order and profile review and problem investigation, medication reconciliation and resolution and liaison responsibilities. Based at Oakville but will include remote coverage of other sites on nights, evenings & weekend shifts. Licensed under Part A of the Ontario College of Pharmacists register required
Hospital pharmacy residency or equivalent acute care clinical experience preferred
Demonstrated clinical pharmacy experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
Proficiency with CPOE (Computerized Physician Order Entry) system (e.g., Aseptic technique and dispensing skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
Temporary Casual (Approx. Hours: Monday to Sunday - Various rotating 7.5 hour shifts (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $50.766 to $67.950 per hour
