Experienced Trailer Assembler – Full Time.
Status: Must have a valid Canadian work permit.

The Experienced Trailer Assembler is responsible for the complete and accurate assembly of Platinum Trailers grain trailers , including mechanical, structural, and basic electrical components. The successful candidate will have several years of hands-on experience in trailer/building assembly, truck body upfitting, agricultural equipment assembly, or a closely related trade.
This is an on-site, hands-on position . Assemble and install trailer components, sub-assemblies, and systems according to engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications.
Install and route air lines, hydraulic lines, and electrical wiring.
Perform mechanical fit-up, alignment, drilling, tapping, and fastening of structural and mechanical parts.
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and written instructions with minimal supervision.
Conduct basic functional checks (lights, brakes, moving components) and troubleshoot common assembly issues.
Work collaboratively with other assemblers, welders, and supervisors to meet quality and production targets.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all health and safety policies and procedures.

Must have a valid Canadian work permit.

• 3+ years of verifiable experience in trailer assembly, truck body/upfitting, agricultural or industrial equipment assembly, fabrication, or a related mechanical trade.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven ability to assemble complex products from drawings.
• Experience with 12V trailer wiring (routing harnesses, crimping, connections, basic troubleshooting) is a strong asset.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship , attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.
• Basic/intermediate proficiency communicating in English.

Assets (Not Required, But an Advantage):
Experience building grain, dump, livestock, or flatbed trailers.
Background in truck/trailer repair, farm equipment, or heavy equipment assembly.
Basic welding or fabrication experience.
Valid forklift or overhead crane certification.
