Job Responsibility:
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the purchasing, ensuring efficient management of inventory and logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and possess excellent organizational skills to maintain a smooth workflow.
Duties
Work with the sales team to get prices and deliveries for special order parts and services
Monitor inventory levels and replenish as required and limit overstock
Work with the production team to ensure the parts supplied are relieved from inventory and available for build process
Preassembly of parts components and kits for rigging department
Manage the shop supplies and consumables consisting of weekly stock level checks
Seek to reduce costs on inbound freight and eliminate emergency ordering
Attend kick-off and weekly production meetings
Source and bring in special order parts and/or services as required to meet schedule
Follow up with vendors as required
For contracts requiring material traceability ensure the PO's specify this, and that the receiving, material handling and production staff properly control those materials
Continuously manage work order in ERP system
Assist in maintaining and updating part items in ERP system
Support as back up; the Parts and Service Managers and fill in on parts/service counter as needed
Support with loading / unloading freight
Perform inventory count(s) as required
Understand stock vs cashflow
Openly support the Company Values
Skills
Proficiency in operating forklifts
Experience with warehouse management systems for inventory control.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
