Our client is a full-service mid-sized law firm located in downtown Vancouver committed to delivering exceptional service and outstanding results for its clients. They are currently seeking a full-time Securities Paralegal to provide dedicated paralegal and administrative support to two lawyers helping manage and organize their busy practices.
Act as team lead for private placements including preparing offering documents reviewing subscription agreements filing with stock exchanges preparing closing documents filing Forms 45-106F1 and coordinating with U.Assist in preparing documents for public offerings coordinating information from clients and advisors and submitting filings to securities regulators and stock exchanges.
Coordinate with clients on annual general meeting planning and lead preparation of meeting materials.
Work with the corporate services department on corporate filings with the BC Registrar of Companies and Corporations Canada.
Handle administrative tasks including conflict searches file openings billing trust deposits cheque requisitions and write-off requests.
Minimum two years of experience as a securities paralegal.
Strong working experience with SEDAR and familiarity with SEDI.
Flexibility to work remotely part of the week.
