This Legal Assistant role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal support professional who enjoys keeping files organized, managing deadlines, and supporting lawyers in a professional law firm environment. The right person will see this opportunity as a strong next step if they have experience in legal administration, client service, document preparation, and confidential file management.

The Role: Legal Assistant
In this role, you will spend most of your time supporting lawyers with legal documentation, correspondence, calendar management, client files, court materials, and day-to-day administrative coordination. You will work closely with lawyers, clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other external parties to help ensure files, deadlines, meetings, filings, and follow-ups are handled efficiently and accurately.
Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Clerk, Law Clerk, or similar legal support professional
Experience working in a legal office or law firm environment
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Experience with legal practice management or document management software is an asset
