Job Overview:

Cozy Nest Care Home is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our long-term care team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, resident-centered nursing care while promoting residents' comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
• Conduct resident assessments and promptly report changes in condition.
• Assist with pain management and contribute to individualized care planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and observations.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, healthcare aides, and other team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Follow infection prevention and control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being through compassionate care.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or senior care is an asset.
• Knowledge of pain management practices is an asset.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-focused care.

Education & Certifications:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) designation required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is considered an asset.
