French Speaking Elementary Teacher

The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time (1.00 f.t.e.) Elementary French Immersion Teacher at École Springfield Elementary School . The initial assignment will include teaching grade one. Programming at the school consists of English, French Immersion and French Second Language programs for Kindergarten to Grade 4 students.

It is along the banks of the Peace River at its confluence with the Smoky River, the Heart River and Pat's Creek. It is approximately 486 kilometers northwest of Edmonton and 198 kilometres northeast of Grande Prairie on Highway 2. Evidence of effective use of technology for communication and teaching practice.

Annual Salary Range: $ 62, 702 to $ 105, 996 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
