Location Safety Manager - Winnipeg, MB
At First Student , safety isn't just a priority-it's our way of life. Our Location Safety Managers play a key role in ensuring safe, reliable transportation and outstanding customer service. In this leadership role, you'll champion safety initiatives, guide training programs, and maintain compliance standards, all while fostering a positive and supportive workplace.
Deliver safety training to drivers and attendants, including passenger management.
Conduct driver road checks and performance evaluations.
Supervise staff responsible for safety, hiring, and training.
Analyze safety trends and prepare reports to drive continuous improvement.
2-3 years of transportation or safety-related experience.
- Knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial safety regulations.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Creative problem-solving skills for safety challenges.
- A valid driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle for local travel.
