Building Electrical Engineer / Ingénieur(e) électrique du bâtiment

Provide technical expertise in Electrical Distribution, Lighting, Communications, Security, and Life Safety Systems.

Supervise drafters and designers assigned to the project. This includes work assignments, scheduling, mentorship, and quality review.

Coordinate meetings with internal disciplines, external consultants, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors/fabricators.

Perform conceptual and detailed design engineering.

Prepare drawings and construction specifications.

Flexible and adaptable problem-solving skills.

• Technical expertise in the design of Electrical Distribution, Lighting, Communications, Security, and Life Safety Systems for commercial, healthcare, educational, institutional, or residential construction is necessary.
• Experience working on projects from early conceptual to detailed engineering and on to project start-up and operations support.
• Familiarity with green building certifications such as
• Passive House would be an asset
• An Interest in energy efficiency and sustainable development.
• A 37.5-hour work week, with flexible hours and the possibility of finishing at noon on Fridays
