Agent d'approvisionnement / Purchasing Agent

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer and Logistics Agent to join our team. In this role, you will support the procurement and logistics functions to ensure the efficient acquisition and delivery of goods and services. You will work closely with suppliers, internal departments, and logistics partners to maintain optimal inventory levels and streamline supply chain operations.
Procurement Support: Assist in the sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services. Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
Order Processing: Create and manage purchase orders, track order status, and ensure accurate and on-time delivery of goods.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate shipping and receiving activities. Ensure efficient transportation and distribution of goods.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of procurement and logistics activities. Prepare reports and analyze data to support decision-making processes.
Cost Control: Assist in cost analysis and budget management. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as production, quality control, and finance, to align procurement and logistics activities with organizational goals.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with procurement and logistics software is an asset.
Previous experience in procurement or logistics is preferred but not required.
