Request for Proposal - External Audit Services
Alzheimer Society Peterborough Kawartha Lakes Northumberland and Haliburton is a registered charitable non-profit organization seeking proposals from qualified audit firms to provide annual financial audit services.
The selected auditor will be expected to conduct audits in compliance with Canadian auditing standards and provide guidance to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and funding requirements.
The auditor will be responsible for:
Conducting an annual audit of the organizations financial statements in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS).
Preparing audited financial statements and presenting them to the Board of Directors.
Review annual reconciliation report and provide auditors report to Ontario Health
Providing recommendations on financial controls risk management and best practices for non-profit organizations
Proven experience auditing non-profit organizations of comparable size and complexity.
Professional designation in good standing (CPA CA or equivalent)
Strong communication skills and ability to present audit findings to management and the Board of Directors.
