Interested in working with flowers and plants? We are currently seeking seasonal Garden Centre Merchandiser in Brantford, Ontario for our spring season. We service several big box retailers by merchandising plants in their indoor and outdoor garden centres.
Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the live goods in the local retail stores
Responsible for completing online reports (including pictures) through a free mobile app.
Merchandisers are responsible for the visual display and integrity of our products as well as pricing and inventory management.
A friendly presence as you will be expected to establish positive relationships with store staff and customers.
Smart phone required, regular usage (email/phone/photos, etc.)
Safety-toed shoes or boots required (steel or composite) for duration of shift
Flexibility with work hours and to adapt to the needs of the business, including the willingness to work on weekends during busy spring season
Have an interest in plants, flowers, trees, horticulture, landscape, arboriculture, retail, floral design, agriculture, environmental studies.
Garden centre or landscaping experience would be an asset.
Summer students are welcome!
