Redhead Equipment has an exciting career opportunity for an Accountant based in our Regina head office.
At Redhead Equipment we do Whatever It Takes to meet the needs of our customers and have been doing so for over 75 years. We deliver the most dependable brands of agricultural, truck and construction equipment across 14 locations in Saskatchewan. We are seeking to add a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to our team. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced, industry-specific accounting environment.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with dealership management software is an asset
- Perform monthly GL reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, prepare related GL journal entries
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and complete related entries, such as monthly depreciation
Diploma, certificate or post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Business
Enrollment in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) is considered an asset
