Job Title: Meat Processing Operator
Location: Scarborough
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Meat Processing Operator to join our production team in Scarborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for marinating, handling, and packaging poultry and meat products in a fast-paced food production environment while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Process, marinate, portion, and package meat and poultry products according to production specifications
Operate processing and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the production area
Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety, and workplace safety procedures
Perform quality checks to ensure product consistency and packaging accuracy
Accurately label, seal, and prepare products for shipment
Work effectively in refrigerated and cold-temperature environments
Requirements
Experience in meat processing, food production, or manufacturing preferred
GMP training/certification
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Comfortable handling raw meat and poultry products
Ability to work in cold or refrigerated environments for extended periods
Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
Bilingual in Spanish an asset
