Responsibilities:
Determine the size of food portions and estimate food costs
Plan menus and estimate food requirements for menu preparation
Requisition food and kitchen supplies
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards
Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
Order supplies and kitchen equipment
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
Recruit and hire kitchen staff when required
Manage overall kitchen operations
$20 per hour
