Pressure Welder (Weekend)

Class B Pressure Welder – Calgary, AB

TalentWorld is recruiting on behalf of our client Advantec Industrial. This role is ideal for an experienced pressure welder who is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and has strong experience welding carbon and stainless steel piping and vessels. You will support fabrication activities, read and interpret drawings, and ensure work meets quality and safety standards.Afternoon shift (4 x 10-hour shifts) or weekend shift (3 x 12-hour shifts)

Day shift candidates may be considered; 43.00 – $45.00 per hour based on experience

• $3/hour shift premium

~Class B Pressure Welder Responsibilities:

• Weld stainless and carbon steel pipe and vessels
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Perform TIG, MIG, and flux core welding to established parameters
• Support fabrication activities in a production setting
• Use hand tools and welding equipment safely

~Class B Pressure Welder Qualifications:

• Minimum Class B Pressure Welder ticket
• TIG welding experience with stainless and carbon steel
• GMAW / MIG welding experience on stainless and carbon steel pipe and vessels
• Fitting experience considered a strong asset
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
