Florist Assistant

HEAVENLY PLANTS LIMITED
We are looking to hire a part-time/full-time creative floral designer to design, create, and sell standard and customized floral arrangements to customers.
Looking for an upbeat and positive individual who is willing to learn and take direction.
The ideal candidate should have an interest in anything flowers and plants, and possess some interest in floral design, wedding and event industry, photography, social media, and design.
Must be energetic, hardworking, reliable, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and a team player.
Floral Design and Sales experience is a must!
Duties include but are not limited to:
- advising customers on suitable floral arrangement selections, wrapping completed floral arrangements, unpacking and organizing deliveries
- Prepare orders
- Take phone orders and use a POS
- Watering plants
- Filling displays
- Cleaning
- Providing outstanding customer service
Floral Designer Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Sound knowledge of different flower types, arrangement styles, and flower conditioning.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Artistic and creative.
- Detail-oriented
It is a requirement that the potential candidate is available and willing to work evenings, weekends, and during seasonal peak periods.
A valid driving license with your own vehicle will be added value.
