Pipe Fitter * M/F

Install, repair and replace in-plant adduction equipment and heat exchange systems including steam bundles, unit heaters, shell-and-tube exchangers, spirals, etc;

Fabricate new metal, plastic, fiberglass, polymer and steel-polymer lined piping;

Diagnose sources of problems in heating systems by manipulating valves and instruments related to pipe lines;

Read plans and specifications to determine lengths/quantities of materials required;

High school diploma or equivalent and a DEP in Plumbing and Heating;

Plumber qualification certificate (construction or non-construction);

Minimum of 5 years of experience (2 years in heavy or chemical industry, an asset);

Natural gas burner system license (an asset);

Provide work of high quality;

Perform physical or mechanical tasks.
