Retail Clerk

We are seeking a part-time Retail Clerk to join our team. This position reports directly to the Retail Store and Taproom Supervisor and offers a starting wage of $21.22 per hour.

Front line customer service for external customers as well as Sleeman Employees

Processing beer sales for all customers (internal and external)

Inventory management in the retail store, including beer, clothing items, mugs, glasses, etc.

Assist customers in the delivery of cases of beer and kegs to customer's vehicles if requested

Conduct plant tours for external customers

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and in person

Provide exceptional customer service

Adhere to the food safety required as per job duties and report non-conformities

Complete Home Beer Deliveries through our Retail Outlet

Empties collection and reconciliation

Serving patrons in taproom and patio

Strong interpersonal /customer service skills to provide a superior Sleeman's branded experience for our employees and external customers

• Excellent communication and public speaking skills are required
• 1 year cash-handling and key-holder experience, preferably in food & beverage industry is strongly preferred
• Lowlift operation required, in-house training and certification will be provided
• Must have a valid Smart Serve Certificate
• Previous experience working in a retail, customer service role is strongly preferred
• Digital Media experience an asset
