Nanny, Full-Time

We are both full time working parents and seeking care for our two children over the summer months at a cottage on beautiful Bigwin Island for the summer. Required qualifications: previous experience as a nanny or caregiver Valid Ontario G Drivers license and clear driver's abstract Strong ability to swim. Current First Aid / CPR Additional certifications in Early Childhood Education preferred. References We view our children's caregivers as an extension of our family and value mutual respect, open dialogue, honesty, and trust. Of utmost importance to us is the safety of our children, and knowing they are being fully supervised at all times, particularly around the water. Preparing activities (crafts, materials etc will be provided) and having a general daily plan will work well. Maintain a tidy environment in terms of children's toys and cleaning up children's meals. Mom works from home so will be on site, but can be flexible with the workspace and can work at the main clubhouse also. You will have access to a golf cart to travel the island. To access the island there is a ferry boat that operates from Norway Point. If you live on Lake of Bays, you could boat to work! Vehicle to escort kids to local library or other activities will be provided. An occasional weekend day or evening may be requested.
