CAD Engineer Full-time

Could you be the full-time Overhead Catenary System (OCS) CAD Designer in Toronto, ON, we’re looking for?

Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical and structural CAD expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Project Management, and Construction Management teams), coordinate with external stakeholders, and prepare 2D and 3D CAD/BIM OCS documents for review, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of preparing and reviewing OCS layouts and detailed cross-sections, but also support survey teams and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ) elaboration and updates.
Establishing and reviewing basic and detailed design drawings for the project
Integrating technical interface requirements from internal and external stakeholders
Preparing and submitting BIM format documents when applicable
Supporting architecture definition between subsystems to achieve optimal OCS design
Ensuring technical compliance by reviewing supplier, subcontractor, and in-house designs

• Completion of secondary school (high school diploma) is required
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field preferred
• 4+ years experience in mechanical/structural CAD engineering
• Proficiency in BIM/CAD software
• Fluent in English; a second language is appreciated

The expected compensation for this role is $70,000 – $90,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
