Key Responsibilities
As a contracted nurse with Sole Centered Foot Care, you will:
Provide essential care for conditions such as thick or fungal nails, corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, and more.
Perform comprehensive lower limb assessments and offer health education to patients.
Document all assessments and treatments accurately using our clinic practice management software.
Refer patients to other healthcare practitioners when necessary.
Process payments and ensure compliance with Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) best practices.
Maintain proper sterilization techniques for all foot care instruments.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess:
A valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) License in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
A Basic or Advanced Foot Care Education Certificate/ or readiness to obtain basic foot care theory certificate prior to start date**
Professional liability insurance.
Experience working with elderly or cognitively impaired individuals.
Knowledge of wound care and diabetes management is an asset.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening.
A reliable vehicle and the ability to travel within Ottawa.
