Join Ontario Power Generation as a Senior Supply Chain Manager, focusing on strategic supply planning and supplier relationship management. This full-time role is located in Oshawa, Ontario.
As a Senior Manager, you will lead a team of procurement agents to refine supply strategies and drive operational excellence. Your expertise in negotiation and conflict resolution will be pivotal in managing key supplier relationships and enhancing performance through tailored strategies aligned with OPG's objectives. This role emphasizes a results-driven approach to improving plant operations and reducing generation loss.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development of procurement agents and commercial advisors
- Negotiate and manage supplier relationships strategically
- Enhance Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) through scorecards
- Develop SRM initiatives aligning with OPG's goals
- Report on operational, financial, and ESG metrics
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Minimum 10 years in Supply Chain or Procurement
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams
- Strong negotiation and strategic planning capabilities
- Experience engaging unionized team members
