Instructor Therapist
$25 - $35 per hourSide by Side ABA Therapy
Job Type: On-Going Part-time, Independent Contractor Position.
Hours: All applicants MUST have availability for a minimum of 4 hours (2 x 2 hr sessions) on weeknights after school. Side by Side Therapy is currently looking for skilled individuals to fill contract Instructor Therapist positions in North York and surrounding areas. Instructor Therapists will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (or other developmental disabilities) in the children’s home while employing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) teaching strategies as directed by a Senior Therapist and RBA.
Possess a minimum of 6 months employment experience as an Instructor Therapist or similar role, implementing ABA procedures as directed by an RBA.
Implement sessions as directed by the RBA in accordance with the client’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP) in the client’s home or community.
Record and graph data and notes required by the RBA.
A College Diploma or University Degree in a related field.
Additional Assets :
Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) course completion is an asset.
ABA/Autism-related Diploma/Certificate is an asset.
CPR / First Aid certification.
