Senior Industrial Mechanical Engineer

Determine the specific needs of the projects, establish the scope of work, and identify the steps and timelines for execution.
Provide engineering services related to sizing, manufacturing, refurbishment, and installation of turbines and compressors, mainly gas compressors.
Perform design work and calculations required for the project.
Participate in the development of technical specifications.
Validate compliance with current standards and verify the conformity of specifications and other documents produced by suppliers.
Estimate project costs.
Prepare technical specifications and reports.
Establish and maintain an environment that supports ethical and professional practices in engineering work.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in industrial mechanical engineering focused on steam turbine and high-pressure gas compressor engineering; experience in consulting engineering is considered an asset.
- Understanding and knowledge of systems related to turbines and compressors (piping, valves, controls, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of industrial and/or heavy industrial environments.
- Experience in the nuclear or LNG sectors is considered an asset.
- Experience with service proposal processes and business development is an asset.
