The IT Operations Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of IT operations to ensure the organization's technology infrastructure is efficient, secure, and aligned with business objectives. The IT Operations Manager will manage IT security, system maintenance, vendor negotiations, and process optimization while serving as a key liaison between IT and other business units.

Oversee and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud systems.

Transition IT operations from external service providers to an in-house model, ensuring continuity and efficiency.

Develop and implement a comprehensive IT security roadmap, covering email, servers, applications, endpoints, and industry-specific compliance requirements.

Proactively monitor for threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring robust protection of sensitive business and customer data.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Evaluate, negotiate, and procure IT software and tools to support distribution-specific workflows, such as inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and logistics management.

Ensure proper configuration, integration, and optimization of software to maximize value and alignment with business processes.

Collaborate with the networking and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems into the distribution and wholesale workflows.

Provide technical guidance to internal teams to optimize the use of IT systems in areas such as inventory control, pricing strategies, and customer relationship management.

Identify opportunities to streamline operations by leveraging technology to reduce hardware needs and optimize processes, such as Citrix implementation for branch operations.

Work closely with finance and operations to manage IT-related costs and implement cost-saving measures, including telephony and infrastructure optimizations.

Develop and maintain a proactive IT support model to prevent issues before they arise, ensuring the smooth operation of systems critical to distribution and wholesale activities.

Regularly review and update IT processes to align with evolving business needs and industry standards.

Act as a champion for continuous improvement, identifying new technologies and methods to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Lead strategic IT initiatives to align technology capabilities with business objectives in the distribution and wholesale sectors.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in IT operations or system administration, with at least 3 years focused on distribution and wholesale systems.
• Proven experience managing IT security, patch management, system configurations, and compliance in a distribution or wholesale environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and tools relevant to inventory, logistics, and order management processes.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including cloud systems (e.g., Azure), networking, and virtualization (e.g., Expertise in IT security best practices, compliance frameworks, and disaster recovery planning.
• Advanced skills in software negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization strategies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize IT systems to support high-volume distribution and wholesale operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing IT challenges.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
