We are looking for a Ward Clerk to work with our Emergency Department to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork.

The successful applicant will perform the duties expected of a Ward Clerk within the Emergency Department.

The Ward Clerk performs clerical and administrative support functions to ensure smooth operation of the assigned unit.

Ward Clerk certificate and relevant clerical experience in health care setting required.
Medical terminology and an understanding of the health care system required.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office required.
Ability to interact positively with physicians and the public required.
Experience with Meditech and order entry, experience with EDM preferred.
Appropriate lifting techniques.
Acceptable performance and attendance records.
