Full time bakery worker

Job Responsibility:
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that our products are prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and customer service, along with a strong commitment to food safety and sanitation practices.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including pies and cakes, and decorating (piping) desserts following established recipes and procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, ensuring all surfaces and equipment are sanitized regularly.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions regarding products.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with restocking as necessary.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours.
Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality presentation of baked goods.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
