Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (f/m/d)

Join Jabil as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer focusing on datacenter transceivers. Lead design initiatives, mentor engineers, and guide projects to successful outcomes in a global environment.

In this role, you'll spearhead mechanical design activities for cutting-edge datacenter transceivers. With over eight years of experience, you will collaborate closely with system architects and guide less experienced engineers. Your technical capabilities will ensure that product specifications are met and innovations are encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead development and validation of datacenter transceivers
Direct chassis and PCB mechanical layouts with minimal supervision
Mentor engineers and conduct design reviews
Assemble prototypes and verify functional design
Manage communication with suppliers and technical partners

Requirements:

BSME/MSME/PhD or equivalent experience
8+ years in mechanical design and verification
Proficiency in 3D CAD tools like SolidWorks
Experience with datacenter transceivers preferred
Strong problem-solving skills in design challenges
