Engage visitors with Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) histories and cultures as it relates to Edmonton within the Indigenous Peoples Experience or one of our four historical eras: 1846 Fort & Cree Encampment, 1885 Street & Métis Camp, 1905 Street, or 1920 Street
Interpret a period of Edmonton's history to the visiting public using a variety of methods such as: storytelling, demonstrations of traditional skills, engaging visitors in one-on-one conversations, tours, and costumed role play
Participate in media engagements, public events, and other functions as required

Skills or Experience working with the general public and children
Asset:
Ability to speak the Cree, Michif, or other Indigenous languages, and/ or knowledge of Cree syllabics
Experience working in a museum, cultural centre, or historic site
Knowledge of Cree, Métis or other Indigenous cultures and histories
Embracing a culture of equity, diversity, reconciliation and inclusion
Up to 10 temporary, part-time positions for approximately 6 months
Hours of Work: Up to 39 hours over the course of the Summer, Sunday - Saturday with some, holidays, evenings, as required
Salary: $21.918 - $26.183 (Hourly)
